Mark this day! We had just registered Dream Accent as a sole-proprietorship under Singapore Business directory. We shall be receiving the Business Registration number very soon.

When we (Edric and I) were at the ACRA - International Plaza, we still could not believe that Dream Accent was finally going to be registered as a business!

Back then (10 months ago), when we were just starting out, we could not really decide what name we should give to our business. Initially, we had D-Kita for 4 months, then we switched to 8th Lane where it lasted only for 2 weeks before we finally settled down on Dream Accent!

Just for fun, I typed “Dream Accent” on the Google Search Engine and realized there were a few pages of our lost blog contents. Thank God… I can now post them again one by one… Here is our first blog:

May 13, 2008 - Launch of Dream Accent Blog
Welcome to Dream Accent Blog! This is a place where designers and creative people meet and fellowship. Of course, no restriction…  We will cover any topics under the sun (from business to holiday, from God to people). Yes, we are Christians!

Just to do a bit of introduction, Dream Accent is a small design company started by one illustrator (Edric), one web designer (me) and one IT analyst (Kelly). We are not experts but we will be someday. Rest assured though, we are still professionals in our work area. We work as freelancers for now, learning and progressing. Let’s see what we will achieve in 2 years time! As for your part, please support us through our post discussion (praise and criticsm), in prayers, or even join us to work together as a team.

For the time being, we are still trying to get our full version of Dream Accent website done and up before June 2008. You shall wait for our news!

Yes, it’s version two. You might wonder where have all the past content gone to. Well, we lost them while moving to a new hosting server. Topic about “Back Up Your Files” had always been repeatedly taught in school but we simply take them for granted. So lesson number one for doing business “BACK UP YOUR FILE”.

We will try to recall what we had written in the past few months and post it here in the next few days.
